Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -- February 26, 2007—

BIG HOUSE Studio, Rio de Janeiro kicks of the Golden Pig Lunar New Year with the biggest, most extravagant party known in the world, 2007 Carnaval Rio de Janeiro!

Coinciding with the grand opening of BIG HOUSE Studio, Rio de Janeiro, 2007’s carnival officially begins on Sunday the 18th until Tuesday the 20th or Mardi Gras. For four consecutive days and nights the entire city explodes into festivities of music, parades, costumes, and culture!

Check our images taken from the front row seat in the Sambadrome, a permanent structure built 700 meters along the Rio de Janeiro downtown with bleachers on either side. The parade which attracts thousands of Brazilian and foreign spectator each year consists of Samba schools parading competitively during Carnaval from 8 PM until morning:
