Big House Studios announced last month of the impending grand opening of a new modern and unique photography studio, located in Rio de Janeiros’ renowned Ipanema beach.

Big House Studios - Brazil, dubbed Studio One, is a live/work space concept that was first tested here in San Francisco’s Big House Studios with state of the art equipment and world class combination of European/Brazilian furnishings, European esthetics, Californian functionality, and Brazilian edge!

Studio One is first of the several uniquely designed film and photography studio which will be available for rent to traveling and local photographers as well as existing preferred Big House Studios clients.

According to Altura Ewers, principal of Big House Studios, the idea conceptualized while realizing that that many photographers shooting abroad would appreciate the ability to work, live, and play in one single location. "With Big House Studios Brazil, Studio One, I wanted to integrate all of the best components of style, functionality, and location to deliver a true value add in an industry which needs of inspirational space to create high art, whether it’s fashion, furniture, house ware-or lingerie!"

The two bedroom studio is located within a few blocks from the most desirable beaches in the sexiest city in the world.

Grand Opening is slated for the Fashion Week-Rio, Brazil in June, however, the studio will be available starting April 2006.

The last few months have been incredibly busy as we have been launching Big House Coffee Co. in South Beach, Miami, and Sarasota, Florida.

Our Italian gourmet coffee is offered at the most luxurious shore club properties such as Portofino Towers and Continuum Condo Miami Beach.

With our success in California, Big House Studios has decided to expand its focus to include jet set residents of South Florida by distributing Italy’s favorite brand of gourmet espresso coffee, Caffé Mauro. These specially designed and packaged coffee cartridges, which make espresso, latte or an Americano at the touch of a button, are the perfect way to keep the gourmet Italian coffee enjoyment flowing while globe-trotting to your favorite locations without leaving your cabana or studio.
