BIG HOUSE Studio announced today it will release BIG HOUSE Studio: The First 5 Years, a photographic tour of the faces and events of Big House from 2001–2006. From star-powered photo-shoots and Silicon Valley triumphs to Snoop Dogg’s illustrious private performance, this coffee-table production will celebrate five years of working hard and playing harder in the City by the Bay. BIG HOUSE San Francisco has spawned two exotic daughter companies BIG HOUSE Studio Rio de Janeiro and BIG HOUSE Studio Jamaica Limited to burn the creativity flame long after BIG HOUSE Studio San Francisco is gone.
It’s no secret that BIG HOUSE Studio has evolutionized (evolved + revolutionized) how a “photography studio” is utilized and how any major creative, artistic project is produced. BIG HOUSE Studio is truly the first photography studio to step out of the box and not only use the space for traditional photo shoots but to offer the opportunity to all kinds of creative teams, enabling them to take advantage of the incomparable atmosphere of innovation.
Since 2001, BIG HOUSE Studio has been the shooting location for some of today’s most provocative ad campaigns, such as the controversial Pony Athletic Shoe ads. Scores of renowned photographers have shot on the 5,000 square foot seamless, from Jock McDonald to Michael Thompson. The Siberia Lounge has hosted many a star-studded, sensational party, not to mention innovative creative endeavors such as the renowned Red Bull Music Lab. Cameras have always been ubiquitous at Big House. Now it’s time to unlock the archives and relive the most memorable moments.
This isn’t just our collection of memories.
